The Community Table Dinner is an annual event held in Penn Yan, New York, with the aim of supporting a local nonprofit organization. The event creates a sense of community while raising funds for a worthy cause. This year’s beneficiary is the Yates Community Center.
Experience the flavors of the Finger Lakes prepared by local chefs, paired with local wines and craft beer in a unique outdoor setting overlooking the Keuka Outlet Trailhead on the Main St. Bridge in Penn Yan around a custom built communal table. This is meant to be a sustainable event, so no plates, utensils, or plastic will be used. We’re also teaming up with Finger Lakes Compost to help eliminate any waste.
Chef Ben Comstock of True Roots Kitchen & Catering and Chet Thompson of the 18th Amendment and Burnt Rose Wine Bar will be joined onsite by Linnea Shumway of Minimalist Chef, Sabrina Miller of Sabrina’s Bake Shoppe, and Natalie Travis of Outlet One Eleven. The menu will source as many ingredients and products as possible from Yates County to celebrate the Bicentennial of the County.
