A discussion based on Being Mortal, an exploration of the experiences of aging by Atul Gawande. Dr. Gawande is a gerontologist and surgeon who treats his patients with the same expert, loving care as does his family members. Learn the stories of actual people as they navigate the alternatives of living style and care at the end of life. Explore how we can better, more joyfully, and effectively make our wishes known, realistic and spiritually rich. So much depends on how we embrace the work of Being Mortal.

Bring your lunch. If you can read the book ahead of time it will be helpful.
Cecilie Bodnar has extensive experience in adult learning and spiritual companioning.
